Nexus Prim

Samsung is out with its next Android phone and it will debut in the following week, we assume they are speaking about Nexus Prime. They have changed the design and made it flat as compared to Nexus S which showed some curves. In San Diego, Samsung Unpacked event is going to happen on October 11 and they are using a statement which says “Another perfect launch is coming around soon. When we heard “Something Big is coming we are presuming it hints to the big screen of the new phone.

Now the situation is that Apple has just launched iPhone 4S, and as they promised the upgraded model is far faster with a high end processor. Now Samsung Nexus Prime will have to face some strong competition as the IPhones will be selling like hot cake. But for mobile geeks, Nexus will be launched with the Google’s OS Ice cream sandwich and it may be expected around End of October. Ice cream sandwich will take some features from Honey comb and will adapt it for the mobile phones. A glimpse at the Nexus Prime displays buttons with honeycomb inspiration, for example the squashed icon for house that is for Home feature. Let’s hope this smartphone gets a warm welcome.

Unlocked iPhone4

As the news of iPhone 4S launched it was anticipated that there will be a tremendous increase of pre order sales. But the sudden demise of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and father of iPhone and iPad series brought a blow on the online sales on the iPhone 4S. Now the company has said that they are bringing the unlocked version in November 2011. Where there will be many customers opting for iPhone 4S upgraded version along with the contract from Verizon, AT&T and now Sprint many clients looking out for no contract and unlocked phone will also be able to buy it online from November.

The company has also said in its announcement that if you are planning to travel abroad or will be on international tour you can insert a micro SIM and can use it with a local GSM carrier. When you are using unlocked iPhone 4 you will have to accept the fact that it won’t work with CDMA carriers. Currently the cost of unlocked iPhone is 499 pounds for 16 GB models in UK. If the memory id 32 GB will cost around 599 pounds. In Germany and France, you can buy this phone at 629 euros and 739 euros respectively.

As there is rise in the use and launch of Netbooks there is a very fine line that separates that laptop and especially the ultra –portable ones. One might think that will buying a netbook instead of laptop a better solution to my needs and requirement? Ice Cream Sandwich of Android Google

Okay let’s not get deviated from the thought of ice cream sandwich here. The names as it sounds might strike a bit but Ice Cream Sandwich is the upcoming Google Android’s Operating System. We were hearing about this news since few months, and finally it’s been showing the release date would be around October or November of this year. Google has not yet given too many specifics but next gen Android OS has something under the shiny wrapper. Some of the ice cream sandwich info that we could gather around are as follows:

During a talk show in San Francisco Eric Schmidt from Google promised to release the new Ice cream Sandwich OS in Oct – November quarter. As the holiday’s sales rush in they want the software and accompanying hardware to launch in the market during this time frame and not pushing it in December which might be delaying its sales.

Good news that Ice cream Sandwich will operate on phone as well as tablets. With the new Google’s Android OS will fill the gap of device based disparity by introducing the new OS. It’s quite simple to say its “one OS that runs everywhere”. Whether it is a phone tablet or any other gadget you have Ice Cream Sandwich with you!

Apple iPhone 4S

After much wait Apple has finally introduced the iPhone 4S. The news was quite a disappointment to those customers and mobile geeks who were looking out for iPhone5. When we take a glance at the new phone it looks similar to iPhone4, but there is more to it than what meets the eye. Apple has made quite a lot of changes in the phone, as they are under the hood and cannot be seen directly. Though they promise to have improved upon the performance, memory, camera and the antenna design there are some more specifications that need some mentioning here. Now Apple iPhone 4S will also be available with Sprint with a memory of 64GB model.

Apple says that the substantial improvement has been done that will provide twice as fast speed of their earlier launch. A5 dual core processor and 1GHz processor with dual core GPU are the upgrades to back their claims. We will highly appreciate if this smartphone can provide 8 hours of talk time over 3G, 6 -9 hours of browsing on internet depending upon the type of platform it gets. It seems the new A5 chip is definitely attracting some attention from the mobile geeks who want faster processing speed in their IPhone.
